St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee 

 $500 (up to 3)     2023 & 2024 Student Scholarship Application

Competitive awards of $500.00 scholarships for outstanding high school juniors and seniors

who either live in St. Clair Shores or attend high school in St. Clair Shores.

 Deadline for receipt of all application materials is November 25, 2024 at 4:00 pm at City Hall

St Clair Shores Lion’s Club
 
Please read all information and answer the requested questions.  The recipients of the scholarship awards will be selected by the Waterfront Environmental Committee’s Scholarship Subcommittee.  The scholarship money must go towards tuition at a 4 year university or 2 year degree program.  Make copies of all your material and mail originals to:

 Application procedure – To be considered for the Scholarship, applicants should submit:

  1. Completed application form including your typed, double spaced answers to at least 4 out of 6 of the questions about Lake St. Clair on separate sheets,
  2. One letter of recommendation on letterhead from one of your current or past teachers or a recognized civic leader; and
  3. Applicant involved in at least one of the SCS Waterfront Environmental Committee’s projects (Nautical Coast Cleanup, Storm Drain Stenciling, I94 Cleanup, etc.).
